Project financed from IPA III c EU fund “Continued infrastructure construction in Industrial zone Janjevci” also covers a study trip for the attendants of the education cycle. After five seminars entrepreneurs were enabled to see examples of good practice through a three – day study trip. Since the topic of the seminar was construction and management of business zones, three business zones were selected: PODI zone in Dugopolje municipality, PODI zone in Šibenik and Novi Stankovci business zone.
These three zones are in the circle of the most successful projects by development, investors and the number of employees in the zones. It is significant that, despite many bureaucratic obstacles they have managed to attract significant investors in the last ten years. Models of infrastructure construction, especially securing finances are different and thus point out their uniqueness and adaptability to their own opportunities.
Aside from getting to know the models of business zone construction models, attendants had the chance of visiting the factories in these zones. However, the most most striking visit was the one at iNAVIS, Entrepreneurial incubator founded and implemented with the Government of Norway. Technology park, situated in ex-military facilities, provides many companies with a hi-tech process of participation and cooperation with many Norwegian companies and finding markets together with products fabricated in Croatia.
Introduction to practice, which the attendants had the chance of seeing and farmiliarizing with different models, will surely contribute to applying some of the solutions in the management of Industrial zone Janjevci.
